Dr. Garside is currently Associate Professor at McMaster University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, and is the Associate Director of e-Learning for the Michael G DeGroote School of Medicine. Dr Garside currently holds funding from NARSAD, HHSF and the Ontario Mental Health Foundation. One of her primary areas of interest lies in the area of ethics and mental health. Dr. Garside's areas of expertise include e-curriculum development, interactive e-learning module creation, Psychiatry, and Neuroscience. Her research is focused on evaluating the designs of e-learning modules to enhance knowledge translation, the assessment of multimedia assets and blended delivery models. Dr Garside will contribute to the project in the areas of e-learning and instructional design, and to assist in determining the best information and communication technologies required to enhance knowledge translation and dissemination of the research findings.
